As we celebrated our 20th year anniversary on August 18th 2015, it’s almost hard for me to believe that 20 years have gone by since we started as a modest 3 employee operation , a truck, and one goal in mind; providing the most cost efficient shipping solutions , at the highest standard of service.
While that seems like a common goal for all companies to aspire for, surprisingly so, I found out in 1995 that most shipping companies lacked providing efficient solutions when it came to offering customers a one-stop-shop for all services required, such as packing, crating, loading, shipping, and overseas door delivery. Most companies only offered one or perhaps two of those services. Our goal was to introduce a company that provides an umbrella of services, under one roof, allowing the consumer to choose their desired services a la carte, while dealing with one company only. This proved to be a huge success, and we found ourselves growing our packing teams, added a carpentry to our warehouse, and much more, in order to accommodate the demand.
Finding a way to offer these services under one operation was tough, however the toughest part was making sure that while we provide these services, we also provide them at the highest quality. I knew that in order to reach longevity in this industry, providing a one-stop-shop for customers would not be enough, I knew that in order to become a long lasting company, we would need our customers, and the only way to accomplish that is providing a true customer-centered operation, having customer satisfaction as the corner stone. We accomplished that by making sure that every employee in our operation, regardless of what department, whether its packing, sales, or customer support, everyone would get personally trained to become familiar with our operation, and the way we conduct business, before becoming a part of our team. This also proved to be a huge success, and for our first few years up until today, our word-of-the-mouth customer referral is at an extremely high level, and we still to this day, after serving thousands of customers, maintain an excellent customer satisfaction ratings all across the board.
As we head forward into the next 20 years, I see our company still growing every day, adding more services to our already large umbrella of services. I see us expanding our global reach, expanding shipping facilities and network of agents. I see us moving forward with times and technology, always upgrading to the top of the line equipment and communication systems. I also see us making the necessary changes to reduce our footprint on our environment and ecological systems, which I something we have already been doing, leading the industry by example. Above all, I see our customer-centered approach remaining at the top of the pyramid as something we will always pursue, and that will not be compromised on.
